To say I love food would be an understatement. I adore it.
Food is a multi-sensory experience. You see a beautifully plated bowl of noodles. You smell the aromas of spices intertwining. You feel the crusty exterior of a baguette. You taste a symphony of flavors when you take that first bite. You remember wonderful morsels you’ve tried on your adventures.
How can you not love food? (Don’t answer that.)
I was excited to design the menus for the newest location of El Paso’s beloved Pho Tre Bien, a hub for Vietnamese cuisine.
Unlike their other locations, Pho Tre Bien Cafe has a modern coffee shop vibe and provides Vietnamese-inspired desserts, brunch, and drinks in addition to their other popular menu items.
Inspiration + Photography
This menu is inspired by the dark wooden decor of the restaurant along with Vietnamese culture, utilizing a banana leaf illustrations within the menu. We included the Vietnamese translations of section titles and dish names as well.
The client wanted custom food photography and styling as well. I collaborated with the owner and chef to take flat lays and images that could later be used for social media.
